Just as a session was finishing up, the PM of Turkey started on a rant against Israel's war on Gaza. The PM wouldn't be quiet...the moderator kept trying to get him to wrap it up, but the PM wouldn't stop. He finally walked out in anger, saying he would not be coming back. He was cheered in Turkey when he returned home, and in Gaza, crowds took to the streets waving Turkey flags in support of his actions. The last time I flew back into Chicago from Houston, I was struck by the beauty of the sun on the clouds as we were cruising at 30,000 feet. But then we started our decent into the clouds and the fog and landed in a gray, cold city.
